Wye Valley UK – Electric Pocket Limited has brought BugMe!, the famous “sticky note” note-taker, to the Apple iPad. The new iPad version of BugMe! builds on the success of the recently released iPhone version, and lets users take advantage of the iPad’s large screen to easily jot and organize handwritten yellow-sticky-style notes and memory joggers.

Wye Valley, UK – Today, Electric Pocket Limited is introducing BugMe!, the popular note-taker and reminder application, to iPhone users. For well over a decade, PDA and smartphone users have been using BugMe! to create notes and set reminder alarms to keep them on-task and on-time. “BugMe! for iPhone brings the classic app to a new audience on the iPhone, as well as answering the pleas of long-time users who were missing a faithful friend!” said Iain Barclay, Electric Pocket’s chief products officer.
Developer Air-O-Matic’s first app release, Pull My Finger (an app that made farting sounds as the phone vibrated), was rejected by Apple on grounds that it was of “limited utility”. With their follow up attempt in Stickies, Air-O-Matic has finally released one where Apple can’t accuse it of being useless. Stickies is a very simple app that allows users to create their own little stick-it notes and have them displayed in the phone unlock screen. Instead of seeing the battery indicator or some other picture background every time you ‘wake’ the iPhone, why not see some notes that could serve as a reminder?
