Real Racing 2 Available on Dec 16th for $9.99

Firemint announced earlier today that Real Racing 2, the sequel to arguably the best iPhone racing game, will be released on the App Store on December 16th for $9.99. Some of the main features include:

  • 30 officially licensed cars
  • 16 car grid against AI, and 16 player online racing – an iOS first
  • Career mode with well over 10 hours gameplay and a range of event types
  • Earn in-game currency to buy and sell cars, and buy upgrades
  • 5 game modes: Career Mode, Quick Race, Time Trial, Local Multiplayer (8 players), Online Multiplayer (16 players)

Just from the screenshots alone, Real Racing 2 is looking like Infinity Blade on wheels and a racing track. The visuals are just that stunning. If you even remotely enjoy racing games, be sure to keep an eye out for this jaw-droppingly gorgeous racer when it hits the App Store next week. More screenshots and video after the gap…

We also have a hands-on preview of Future Racer.

For more screenies and Press Literature, hop the gap.
