The Secret of Grisly Manor in Review – It’s not THAT big of a secret.

One of the genres that fit especially well on an iDevice are first-person adventure games. These echoes of the golden age of adventure games, ones that actually helped usher in the CD era at some point (see my Myst review), are quite playable even on the smallish screen of an iPhone or iPod Touch and are surprisingly popular on these platforms. Cubes 3D Revolution In Review – 3D Fun In A 2D World

The “Match 3″ formula has been repeated all through the game section of the App Store. Ranging from free to paid, good to bad, it’s one of biggest sub-genres that’s been carried over from PC based flash games. Recently I was able to check out an app that takes the formula into a whole new direction. Cubes 3D Revolution, from Simiotica, is a new match ‘em with a 3D twist.
