Bulba The Cat in Review – The Bouncing Never Ends

I like fun and I like silly, and as luck would have it Bulba The Cat has both of these in spades.  It doesn’t really provide a very deep platforming experience, and there aren’t a wide variety of obstacles to face, but it makes great use of what it does have to provide some compelling levels.  The game is not very difficult either, and I might even have it beat by the time I finish this review, but I’ve enjoyed it so much through the process that it won’t really matter to me that the experience was a tad short (though I’ll be sad that it’s over). Alice In Wonderland – An Adventure Beyond The Mirror in Review – Up is down, left is right and the world is spinning round…

Alice in Wonderland is one m-m-maaaaad story. The adventures of a young girl in the mysterious world have been made into one of the best Disney cartoons and inspired millions of girls around the world to follow the white rabbit. The followup story, Alice Through the Looking Glass, is not as well known, though the recent Tim Burton adaptation certainly will fix this soon. And hot on the heels of the movie is, of course, a companion iPhone release – Alice In Wonderland – An Adventure Beyond The Mirror .

Castle Of Magic in Review – It’s Simply Magical!

Every console and every mobile device needs its own platformer. I grew up playing the Spyro and Crash Bandicoot series on my PS1 which, in my opinion, were two of greatest series the gaming world had ever seen back when the 32-bit console wars were heating up. This time, the spotlight isn’t on the Playstation or Dreamcast; its on the 32-bit iPhone and the war has been over a long while.
