With 60 000+ apps in a competitive and constantly growing mobile software market and creative panache to back it, Apple’s creation of a stunning window-mounted iPhone advert would have been child’s play. Reminiscent of the old Windows’ Starfield screensaver, apps rush toward the screen from a single point of origin, and at intervals, a single app is highlighted; its name and a short description are then featured for a handful of seconds.
