Microsoft OneNote makes its way onto the iPhone

Although the iPhone already has a built-in notetaking software in Notes, it’s really nothing more than a digital notebook to store whatever comes to mind, be it a list of shopping items, or something you wanted to be reminded of at a later time.

Given the inability of Notes to properly organize such random thoughts, those who have upgraded to iOS 4.2 (or higher) will be glad to know that Microsoft OneNote, a little-used but feature-laden app that allows people to jot down their notes and yes, effectively organize them in their own PCs and Windows Live online storage, is now available for a limited time for free.
