Freebie Friday: BioDefense and Jet Ball both FREE today

Good news for those of you who’re hoping for some new (and free) iDevice games to keep you occupied this weekend. Resolution Interactive’s BioDefense: Zombie Outbreak has just dropped in price from $2.99 to free. BioDefense is a tower defense game with a zombie and RTS twist, one that ‘ll provide plenty of challenge and wave after wave of the undead. If you own an iPad as well, the HD specific version can also be had for free.

If Zombies or TD games ain’t your cup of tea, codefreeze’s fun and addictive Jet Ball is also a freebie (down from $4.99). Jet Ball In Review – Ball Paddling Brilliance!

I am sure many of you are familiar with the title Arkanoid. For those of you who aren’t, it is a basic arcade game where the object is to clear the screen of bricks with a paddle and bouncing ball. It was one of the first games I ever played in the arcade as a child and quickly realized that although anyone can play it, few will master it. Most fans of the genre will simply play it over and over again. Then there are those, like the developers at codefreeze, who like it so much that they decided to recreate the classic game and make it their own.
