Are you a fan of Dead Trigger 2?  If so it’s time to find out how you compare with all the other trigger-ites.  Madfinger Games is currently holding a competition called the Ithaca Tour that takes place in five cites across Europe (and since I’m a little bit late to the party two of them have already passed).  Each leg of the competition takes place over a weekend in October except the final destination which starts on Halloween and continues through the second of November.  Join the fray, wrack up some big scores and try to qualify for some cool prizes including an Nvidia Shield!  Note that you will have to have a Dead Trigger 2 account which requires either a new signup or a Facebook account.  For more details on the contest you can check out the official Berlin page, which is the next stop in the competition:

Madfinger’s hit zombie shooter DEAD TRIGGER has already reached 14 million downloads, and the dev team has taken the opportunity at NVIDIA’s CES 2013 press conference to announc DEAD TRIGGER 2. It was demoed on NVIDIA’s Project SHIELD – a 360-like controller with it’s own flip up 5″ 720p display, running on a Tegra 4 chip – and it’s once again powered by the Unity game engine. According to Marek Rabas, CEO of Madfinger, DT2 is going to be even bigger, better and much more addictive”. Not a whole lot has been revealed at this point, but it’s probably safe to say that there’ll be even more zombies and the undead to kill and the visuals will be top notch. As for the release date, expect it to see the light of day in the second quarter of 2013 on both Android and iOS devices. Check out some gameplay footage after the break.
