Xewton Music Studio offers a complete music production environment on the iPhone/iPod touch with features and a sound quality previously only known to desktop applications and expensive audio hardware.
It combines a piano keyboard, 21 professionally sampled instruments with sustain, a fully fledged 128-track sequencer, a note editor, reverb, real-time effects and much more on a user-friendly interface.
Matthew most recently reviewed Xewton Music Studio and absolutely loves the app, even calling it the GarageBand for the iDevice. A lofty statement no doubt, but developer Alexander Gross may very well have unleashed an indispensable app for every musician with an iPhone. Want to get your hands on a copy? Head on inside and see how you can enter this giveaway!
I am currently getting my own stuff on with the new racer, BMW F1, but it seems that Artificial Life have plans that move even faster than my 133t behind-the-wheel skillz. Their contest which starts now and goes to 1 November 2009 will have the developer parting with some good loot (pictured above).

TouchMyApps is giving away 5 copies of MobiTech 3000′s JotNot ($4.99), a great little app that essentially transforms your iPhone into a handheld scanner. Equipped with an assortment of features and options, including the integration of the popular Evernote service, JotNot will make the process of capturing and digitizing documents much more seamless and bearable. SteveNaka reviewed the app and found that it worked as advertised.
Although JotNot is a really simple app, I definitely enjoyed using it and can see its usefulness. Yes you can just use your built in camera app to capture images, and yes there are apps available to edit images but why use 2 apps when you can get all those features and more in 1.
To enter for your chance at winning 1 of the 5 codes, simply check out our review of JotNot and tell us why you’d like to add this handy tool to your app collection in the comments section within. Winners will be selected randomly and the contest will close Sept 24th @ 11pm EST.
To double your chances, follow us on Twitter and tweet: Win 1 of 5 codes for JotNot ($4.99) from @TouchMyApps. Tweet this to enter! Details can be found here http://bit.ly/J0fBA
TouchMyApps is giving away 10 copies of the game Palm Heroes ($9.99), a fantasy turn-based strategy (TBS) game that delivers countless hours of addiction on your iPhone/iPod Touch. Fans of the popular ‘Heroes of Might & Magic’ series will feel right at home with this deep and engaging TBS, one that will surprise you with just how much content the developers Palm Heroes Team have packed into a mobile game. TouchMyApps writer ChiffaN recently reviewed Palm Heroes and it has quickly become one of his favorites on the iPhone.
To sum it all up, the game is awesome. It is the famous Heroes of Might & Magic in the palm of your hand (hence the name). While for the occasional gamer, it may be a bit difficult to master, anyone who invests the time to understand its mechanics will be rewarded by literally hundreds of hours of gameplay.
To enter for your chance at winning one of the ten promo codes, all you have to do is submit a comment within and/or retweet our message on Twitter. Full contest details can be found after the break. Good luck to all!
Firstly, this contest is NOT hosted at TMA. Our partner, iPhoneography, has unearthed a unique contest for iPhone photographers which is running at iPhoneclub, a Dutch enthusiast site. The loot is really good: Aperture 2, Griffin Clarifi case, Pogo Sketch and Macally FlexTune; so if you feel that you have what it takes, follow the link below:

Yeah, it doesn’t get much cooler than today. Companies are doing giveaways left and right. Already, Jays’ c-Jays giveaway is live at their blog and just after waking up, I found out that Monster, too, are playing Santa Claus. The Jamz are a new headphone product from Monster which seems to be debuting with this contest. As for Anjulie, Canadians rejoice! Another home-grown pop star is rising from among our somewhat low-key population. She is a musician from Toronto who has just been nominated for an MTV music award and does seductive pop rather well. The contest convolutes both the Jamz and Anjulie – rather, Anjulie’s signature will accompany the Jamz if you win.
Check out her Myspace page here, or click more below for a few of her videos.
As for Monster – for some they need nearly no introduction. For the others, Monster are a cable company, but have branched out into anything music. We have done a couple of Monster Headphones reviews which are part of our larger headphone section.
The contest takes place at Monster’s webpage and requires you just to fill in your name, date of birth, and acceptance of the terms and conditions – in other words, I joined!
Yeah, you heard it right. The c-Jays carry an MSRP of 129$ USD, but Jays are giving away a pair from their blog. The good news? This ain’t another blow-over company. Jays’ earphones have garnered two GRAB ratings from TouchMyApps for their excellent sound quality and overall value. Few companies grasp both ideas but Jays are pretty well abreast both. The other good news? You just have to leave a nicely written comment on their blog to get your hands on a pair.
In the next few weeks, TMA will finish reviews of the v-Jays headphones and the one that started it all, the d-Jays balanced armature inner earphones. Contest rules are noted after the gap. Note: This is not a TouchMyApps contest. To enter the giveaway, you must Jay’s blog and leave your comments there.
Without a doubt, we’ve all seen our share of puzzle games hit the App Store week after week. Some are easily forgettable, while others, like Dan Gilbert’s Triazzle, deserve a front page (app) spot on all iDevices. Anyone looking for a challenging and addictive puzzler should look no further than this classic game that has sold over 5 million copies since it was first released in 1991. From Jim’s review of the game:
Triazzle…is a complex and engaging puzzle game, like the hand-held puzzles (such as Rubik’s Cube) of yore, mixed with a logic puzzle that can give the right kind of gamer a sense of satisfaction at having the skill to succeed. I can definitely recommend it to gamers who like a little more strategy in their puzzle games. I’m giving Triazzle a Kiss It rating, and if you’re into this type of game that will challenge you, I think you’ll really enjoy it.
To enter for a chance to win 1 of 2 copies, simply check out our review and submit a comment within this contest post. Winners will be selected randomly and they’ll be announced on July 31 @ 2 pm EST. Good Luck !
