TouchMyApps is giving away 3 copies of Dracula The Path of the Dragon – Part 1 HD ($5.99) for the iPad, one of most atmospheric and fun click and point adventures on the platform. Chiffan reviewed the first part of 3 in the series and found it to be entertaining with a great storyline, giving it a Grab it rating. Here’s the basic premise according to iTunes:
September 1920, the Vatican appoints Father Arno Moriani, the “Devil’s Advocate”, to investigate a potential candidate for sainthood in Transylvania. But in the shadows of the disturbing ruins that were once Vlad the Impaler’s castle, his investigation takes an unexpected turn…
There is obviously no such thing as vampires… at least according to the official line of the Catholic Church. But how can you be so sure, standing in the swirling mists of Transylvania ? Carry out your investigation amidst tales of bloody deeds and ancestral fears. Doubts start clouding your mind and doubt begets fear…
If you missed out on Dracula The Path of the Dragon for the iPhone, here’s your chance to win a copy for your iPad. TouchMyApps is giving away 3 copies of Straandlooper’s magnificent point and click adventure, HECTOR: Badge of Carnage Ep1. Recently featured by Apple as one of the Best Games You’ve Never Played, Hector is a sublime throwback to some of the best in the genre from the 80′s and 90′s. ChiffaN, TMA’s resident adventure games addict, reviewed the game and had this to say:
HECTOR: Badge of Carnage Ep1 is a welcome addition to the adventure game genre. The excellent atmospheric graphics, crude but witty humour, excellently balanced and thought out puzzles, memorable characters and hilarious writing make it a definite must have for any iAdventurer. Despite the author’s claims of a “half-decent” adventure game, it is actually one of the best games I’ve ever played on the iOS. And I’m NOT talking just about adventure games.
Having personally finished Badge of Carnage Ep.1, I can’t remember the last time I had so much fun with an iPhone game. Simply put, if a good time on your iDevice is what you seek, you can’t do much better than what the talented folks over at Straanlooper have to offer. So if you haven’t had the pleasure of experiencing first hand just how the fouled mouth Detective goes about his (police) business, be sure to see how you can enter this sweet giveaway after the gap!

To state the obvious, my latest post (for the app-development tool DAPP) was officially my 100th review here for TouchMyApps. As such, I decided that I’m gonna have a damn party. Now I know that I’m not the first to hit that milestone and of course I won’t be the last but that isn’t gonna stop me from having a little fun.
So to start things off, I thought I would answer a question. As I’ve been pushing out reviews, one of the questions that I get asked most was “what are your favorites?”. Well I decided to finally answer that. Having said that, here are my 10 current favorite apps/games out of the last 100 I’ve reviewed.
TouchMyApps is giving away 6 promo codes for Devsister’s Giffle – Photo Motion app (developers behind the surprisely fun Action RPG Dark Shrine -TMA Review). Armed with an iPhone and Giffle app, users can potentially create hilarious animated images of friends, family members and a whole lot more.
Depending on the Frame Count (up to 56 continuous shots) and Capture Interval Settings (from 0.1 to 5 secs), all users have to do is focus on the subject and tap once anywhere on the screen. The app will then automatically take a series of snaps to create the GIF. These can then be shared via email and twitter. Creative minds will not doubt be able to create some really cool and funky animated clips. Full contest details right after the break!
