Burgers. Some are big, and some are small. However, not all burgers are big enough to fit inside a McDonald’s Happy Meal. These burgers are known as Sky Burgers. Our beloved Ian Marsh is now teamed up with his brother David Marsh (NimbleBit dynamic twin duo) to bring us his best, most beautiful, and juicy game yet.

Dark and somber, but it catches your attention huh? That is the beginning of the tale you get if you choose to open the in game journal. Don’t worry though, Last Cannon is actually very relaxing to play and the rest of the game isn’t really depressing.
Pocket Tanks is a game that has been around in some shape or form since 2001. It’s available for the Windows and OSX platforms. As stated in the iTunes page, “Almost 2 million downloads from download.com alone (PC version).” With such a large fan base, a leg up in terms of gameplay refinement, and the staying power of 8 years of experience, (I know I’m going to get some flak for this) I’m surprised at how much I felt Pocket Tanks was lacking.
I had originally grabbed Flight Control on a whim, something about the simplistic art style and the 99 cent price tag flipped my impulse switch. Before I even recognized what I was doing, the game installed on my iPod. Going in I had no expectations for the game, hell I barely even knew what it was about! After the initial loading screen you’re confronted with this simple question “Welcome Aboard! Would you like game sounds?” Without considering the ramifications of my actions I clicked the red “YES” button. The slightly upbeat elevator music transported me to a 1950’s airport terminal. I had become an Air Traffic Controller, not just any air traffic controller… I was the BEST.
Gravity. Something so simple, yet it holds so much power. What is it exactly? Well, it’s defined as the force of attraction by which terrestrial bodies tend to fall toward the center of the earth. Now you may be wondering why I’m talking about this, but it turns out that the new game G, by Soma Games, is all about gravity.

Now back to your regularly scheduled review. Yes, this simple game of trying to make your little green alien jump to the highest platform possible is incredibly intoxicating. For everyone’s well being, I will include the facts and warning signs about Doodle Jump. I do this, so you can determine if yourself or a loved one is a Doodle Jump-aholic
Bouncer is a “rolling” game for the iPhone and iPod touch. It’s gameplay can be broken down into the following: sketching, accelerometer shaking and thinking (puzzles). Bouncer’s objective is to guide the hero, Bouncer, a small yellow ball, to his green friend, Glutton, while avoiding different obstacles along the way.
I actually expect to be cursed for even writing that title, because I know there are a lot of people who love this game and explicitly hope that whenever a new device is released, Space Invaders is ported, or emulated so that they can play the historic space shooter on the new piece of hardware. I myself was introduced to this game when I was still very young on my family’s Apple II.
