The brick-breaking genre of game has been around for years… before I was born, in fact. Nevertheless, it remains a decent, if not overly exciting way to pass the time. The gameplay can’t be beaten for simplicity, but there are so many genres of casual game these days that the old classics have got to be something special to keep up. Unfortunately, 3D Break Breaker Revolution 2 isn’t. It’s just a standard brick-breaking game with no revolutionary features. Feel free to discuss this review of 3D Brick Breaker Revolution 2 in our forums.
I never realised that being an astronaut was such a dangerous profession, but apparently it’s pretty easy to get lost and end up floating around in space. At least, that’s what Blast Off would have you to believe. As captain of a space ship it’s your job to retrieve lost astronauts and get them back safely to wherever it is they belong. Thankfully that’s not important to complete the game, but if it makes you feel better just make up a home base for them. Blast Off combines physics, thought, determination, and tiny but cool little graphics to make a fun outer space action / puzzle game. Feel free to discuss this review of Blast off in our forums.
I actually screamed like a boy scout; it was a pitiful squeaky screech which accompanied the fiftieth time my zombie’s head exploded on the cold hard floor. The option was to jump on a belt of chainsaws, knocking one by one down and while saving the head, vivisecting my zombie’s floor-bound body. Zombie Recycling Inc. : Rotten Red is still as good as its sibling, Moldy Green, but it’s harder, more frustrating, and takes way longer to finish (I haven’t yet done this). Whether it will be worth it to you depends on skill, gaming tenacity, and good ol’ fashioned fluke. Feel free to discuss this review of Zombie Recycling Inc. : Rotten Red in our forums.
When I first heard that Street Fighter IV was coming to the App Store, I was less than enthusiastic. Ever since SF2 on the SNES, I have been a big fan of the series. I wept with joy when I purchased Alpha 3. I shook with disbelief after I purchased EX3. And suddenly, Capcom announces that it’s porting perhaps its most beloved franchise (apologies to Dr. Light, Jill Valentine and Dante) to the iDevice. Feel free to discuss this review of Street Fighter IV in our forums.
London, Canada – Rocking Pocket Games today is pleased to announce the availability of Puppet Jump 3D 1.2, a game that can be only described as a cross between Little Big Planet and Doodle Jump for the iPhone. Puppet Jump 3D challenges players to jump on platforms as high as they can without falling, while collecting Puppet Points that can be used to customize your character and unlock new background scenes.
Caligo Chaser, a game set in the sexy future – or is it the past? — is a stunning hybrid beat ‘em up full of anime babes, fast action, and quick quests. Fans of button mashers and JRPG’s should enjoy this shy-of-300-pennies arcader. Truth be known, I’ve been getting blisters on my thumbs and it’s high time just to let you know of this bad boy. It comes from Com2uS, so expect a goodly dose of polish and graphical pizzazz seen in some of their other hits such as Inotia 2 and Heavy Gunner 3D.
As for our previous coverage of Caligo Chaser, ChiffaN recently did a hands-on preview (with gameplay footage) and found it to be “an excellent game and a real contender to take the beat-em-up RPG crown away from Hybrid: Eternal Whisper“.
Com2uS Inc., Caligo Chaser – $2.99

Update: Our review of Street Fighter IV is now live on TMA.
Street Fighter, one of the biggest and most popular gaming franchises around, has finally landed at the App Store. Released earlier today for the iPhone and iPod Touch, Capcom’s highly anticipated Street Fighter IV will surely please fans of the series and those who enjoy round after round of combat mayhem. Some of the features include:
- Fight as eight Street Fighter characters in seven different environments.
- Full move sets including Unique Attacks, Special Moves, Focus Attacks, Super Combos and Ultra Combos.
- For a true arcade experience, battle head-to-head on Bluetooth against friends and foes alike.
- Robust “Dojo” boot camp transforms neophytes into Street Fighter masters in five in-depth lessons.
It’s no secret that the iDevice has yet to see a must-have fighting game on the platform. From the early (and positive) buzz however, it seems as though Capcom has taken care of business and put together a very playable and solid mobile version of the lengenadary fighter. The initial price of $9.99 may seem a bit steep to some, but for hardcore fans, this should be an easy buy. Gameplay video after the break!
CAPCOM, STREET FIGHTER IV – $9.99
Disgusting: Zombie Recycling Inc. : Rotten Red is gurgling its fetid, foaming face in the direction of the App Store. And a good thing too! Zombie Recycling is a fun way to use your noodle; you pop the heads of zombies back to where they belong. Evidently though, Red is harder than Green, so get your chequebooks out, write Tecmo a gift and get practicing with the first game in the series. Me? I’ll be queuing up my gaming brain cells for a wild weekend.
By the way, Zombie Recycling Inc. : Moldy Green is on sale through the introduction of Rotten Red. It is down to 0.99$ from the formerly lofty 1.99$ price.
TECMO,LTD., Zombie Recycling Inc. : Moldy Green – $0.99

When I first saw the trailer for Fox Vs Duck (from the makers of the hit title MiniSquadron), I wondered to myself what sort of game this would be, given that the trailer was simply a visually stylized fox chasing around a visually stylized duck, catching it, and… well, lets say the end wasn’t pretty. I love mysterious trailers, so naturally I wanted to try the game. Turns out the game is not much more complicated than the trailer, and oddly enough I’m perfectly okay with that. Feel free to discuss this review of Fox Vs Duck in our forums.
Haunted memories of Biohazard keep my lips sealed regarding a person problem: I am scared to death of zombies. I’ve had dreams, waking shocks of terror, and have even run from my wife who loves to mimic the walking dead. Thanks to Tecmo’s Zombie Recycling Inc. : Moldy Green (ZRIMG), however, such overboard reactions are a thing of the past. ZRIMG is a fun and deathly cute game which pits you against the clock and obstacles to finish a gruesome task. Feel free to discuss this review of Zombie Recycling in our forums.
