As the developer quoted in the App Store description of the game, Super Juicy is what happened when Tetris and Bubble Wrap had a baby. It is as satisfying as Bubble Wrap – in Technicolor, to boot – with the varied and imaginative styling of Tetris. It should be on the list of the best iPhone/iPod Touch games ever but right now, it’s not getting the buzz that it deserves.

When the first Ravensword: The Fallen King screenshots and trailers appeared on the net, I thought: “This is it! This is the Holy Grail!” And as the time came closer and closer to the release date, with all of the publicity around the game, my interest really peaked. Just a little over 2 weeks ago I finally got my hands on the press build of this genre-bending game.
Before you get lost, check out the Ravensword Walkthrough at TouchMyApps.
Namco is a major league player when it comes to console games. And they have just released a new dual-stick survival shooter with a twist – you control a newly no-longer-dead hot chick named Marie Dupois in her epic fight with the Thrum in a desperate attempt to rescue her still-alive husband. And did I mention she’s gorgeous?
Hero Defense is a game very similar to Townrs Defender, which I had previously reviewed for TMA. There are some differences that make this game unique in its own way, but ultimately the biggest thing that separates it from Townrs is the difficulty level. Hero Defense is hard – really hard. If that’s the kind of game you’re looking for, you’ve come to the right place – and I’m ready to tell you all about it.
There’s something immediately visually appealing about Samurai: Way of the Warrior. Yes it’s got a bit of a cartoonish look, cell shaded and very reminiscent of the recent Zelda game for the Nintendo DS – but at the same time, it’s a bloody and violent game, far more visceral than you’d get from big N. What kind of game does this all add up to? Read on to find out.
“Two astronauts awaken in a hyper-sleep chamber aboard a seemingly abandoned spacecraft. It’s pitch black, they are disoriented, and the only sound is a low rumble and creak from the belly of the ship. They can’t remember anything: Who are they? What is their mission? With Lt. Payton staying behind to guide him via radio transmitter, Cpl. Bower ventures deep into the ship and begins to uncover a terrifying reality. Slowly the spacecraft’s shocking, deadly secrets are revealed…and the astronauts find their own survival is more important than they could ever have imagined.” [courtesy of imdb]
Dual-stick shooters seem to be all the rage as of late, and not without reason — they are simple, and are insanely fun. Well, developer Meridian decided to try their hand at the recently popular genre, and not without fail. The result — Alive 4-Ever.
About a month ago, we had posted the teaser trailer for the eagerly awaited Modern Combat: Sandstorm by Gameloft. Well the wait is over for all you FPS and Call of Duty 4 fans; Modern Combat is now finally out at the App Store.
