Since its grand opening, the AppStore has seen quite a number of Action/jRPG titles. Unfortunately, only a few are worth mentioning. Apart from Zenonia and more recently, Hybrid, only one other highly acclaimed title roamed App Store: the successful Chronicles of Inotia. So it’s no wonder Com2uS conjured up a sequel just in time for Christmas.
Update: Our review of Inotia: A Wanderer of Luone can be found here
Over the weekend, The Chronicles of Inotia: A Wanderer of Luone bust into the App Store to confirm its spot among the best RPGs in the App Store. TouchMyApps’ review is forthcoming and we have one of our best men on the job, but suffice it to say that among the oft’ short-lived, simple anime RPGs, Luone sheds some serious skin. One of its best features is incredibly long play time which busts through dozens of hours of story play and many more on side quests. But when you’ve sussed the entire thing, Online Match-up mode is sure to pique your interest. Thank you Com2uS for continuing to innovate!
Keep an eye out for it among the hallowed in our featured article: The App Store’s Best RPG.

(Spoiler Alert): I was at Com2uS the other day:(/Spoiler Alert), chatting it up with 2 of the software-maker’s coolest 350 employees and we got chewing about money. It could have been that they wanted me to pay for their drinks: who knows; but nevertheless, we chatted nearly endlessly about dosh. Evidently, economic down-times mean sometimes lucrative trends for game producers. Of course this isn’t news, per se — board game manufacturers too, have seen increases in family gaming sales — but it is an interesting point to ponder.
Ahh, the joys of hurtling heavy lead missiles at both suspecting and unsuspecting enemies! Sniper Vs. Sniper isn’t your local arcade shooting game; you won’t find a great plot, nor impressive 3D cutscenes. But, those things only a pretty shooter do make; Sniper Vs Sniper is an interesting showcase, a game which pulls the trigger on excellent iDevice gaming manners, and better than ever, adds online killing into the mix.
Baseball Slugger Home Run Race 3D is the only place where hitting 50 consecutive home runs will not lead to suspicions of performance enhancing drugs. But what it does lead to is a finely crafted game by developer Com2uS Corp. Whether or not you are a baseball fan really does not matter. This game can be enjoyed by anyone willing to pick it up and start playing. Once you do, you’ll find simple controls to master and online play that’ll have you fighting to grab bragging rights over other players, both friend and stranger alike.
So if you ONLY have a dollar to spend today, would should you buy? I have two words for ya…Baseball Slugger!! Developed by Com2uS, this 3D homerun derby game is down right addictive and easily one of the best online head-to-head games you’ll find at the App Store. Once you get into the ‘swing’ of things, putting down this over the top arcade game is no easy task as you feel the need to upgrade your slugger’s stats and show your worth to other players around the globe. We made a gameplay vid on our YouTube channel, so have a look at B.S in action. Hurry though! This Com2uS sale is only for 1 day. Go Go Go!

As one of the biggest fans of America’s past-time, I was indeed excited to try out Spinfast’s Baseball ’09. While Baseball ’09 does show glimpses of potential, I can’t help but feel like I played an incomplete game with very different set of rules.
Com2uS Corp, the developers behind The Chronicles of Inotia: Legend of Feanor and Crazy Hotdogs has released a survival horror title in Trapped: Undead Infection. Playing as a scientist trapped in a bio-research facility, you have no recollection of who you are and what’s happening around you. One thing is for certain: zombies are everywhere and you must defend yourself with an assortment of weapons (stun guns, pistols, shotguns) as well as solve puzzles along the way.
