Father’s Day is just around the corner and two of the biggest game publishers on the App Store are dishing out some great price drops. EA Mobile’s “Manly-Man Sale” event sees plenty of their best selling games at $0.99, including Dragon’s Lair 2: Time Warp, NBA JAM, Real Racing and more. Meanwhile, Gameloft is offering 8 of their premium titles at a buck, some of which include Eternal Legacy (TMA Review) and the popular MMORPG Order & Chaos© Online. So whether you pick up a few for yourself or gift them for your pops, be sure to grab ‘em before the weekend’s over. Check out the full list of sales after the gap.
Gameloft’s Trifecta sale this weekend should excite all you iDevice gamers out there. Eternal Legacy (TMA Review), Starfront – Collision and Sacred Odyssey – Rise of Ayden can each be had for only $0.99, down from $6.99 ($4.99 for Eternal Legacy). Gameloft, fresh off the releases of their Freemium titles Starfront: Collision and Sacred Odyssey: Rise of Ayden, are at it again with their $0.99 deals. This time, it’s one of the biggest we’ve seen from the powerhouse publisher, and for iPad owners, there are plenty of “HD” games to choose from as well. No specific reason has been given for this sale, but really, who cares! Some of more notable include Blokus HD, N.O.V.A. 2 HD, Hero of Sparta 2 HD and War in the Pacific. Be sure to check out the complete list after the gap…
Earlier today, we saw EA and a bundle of other Apps and Games go either Free or $0.99. Now Gameloft is holding their own Valentine’s Day Event and 13 of their best-selling iPhone games can be had for a buck. Some of the chosen ones include Spider-Man: Total Mayhem, Hero of Sparta II and the fairly recent Shadow Guardian. And as an added bonus, YOU can choose which 14th game they’ll drop to $0.99 for 24hrs on Feb 14th. Simply vote on Gameloft’s Facebook page and let your voice be heard.
Now onto the complete list of Gameloft’s latest dollar sale…

Every day we’ll announce our surprise on our Twitter account. All you have to do is click on the link in the tweet to enjoy your present. What can you get? A free game to play on your iPhone, iPod touch, iPad, Android device, or on Facebook? Exclusive sneak peeks or cool goodies for our hottest upcoming Christmas games? Crazy game discounts? Special, free in-game content? Rest assured you’ll get all this and a little bit more in the end…that is, if you don’t miss a day! So follow @Gameloft on Twitter and, starting December 1, check your timeline every day to discover your gift.
The gifts will only be available for a limited time each day and will expire after 24 hours. If you’re a fan of Gameloft’s App Store games and don’t want to miss out on these daily offers, make sure you hit them up on Twitter and stalk their tweets![via Gameloft Blog]
Gameloft has just announced some excellent deals for the iPad. Brothers In Arms 2: Global Front HD, Iron Man 2 for iPad and Shrek Kart ® HD are all on sale for a measly dollar. B.I.A 2 and Iron Man 2 are both solid action titles for the iPad and Shrek Kart is easily one of the most fun kart racing games on the device. Needless to say, if you’re looking to load up on quality games on your iPad, don’t miss out on this great limited time offer.
Having released the Sports Pack several months back, Gameloft now has another 3-in-1 app for you – the Gameloft Action Pack. This single package of $4.99 includes 3 of their best-selling action titles: Hero of Sparta, Blades of Fury (TMA Review) and Brothers In Arms – Hour of Heroes. Obviously, if this genre of gaming is right up your alley and you haven’t gotten around to checking these out, grabbing this 3-in-1 is a pretty good deal. And if you missed our previous Dollar Bin roundup, Gameloft’s $1 sale on 5 of their (awesome) games is still on.

Gameloft, one of the premier and most popular developers/publishers at the App Store, is celebrating its 10 year anniversary with a sweet promotion dubbed “Happy Hour”, where a Gameloft game will be given away over a 10 day period. Here’s the scoop:
For two hours every day, from May 10th through May 21st, with the exception of the weekend, one Gameloft iPhone/iPod Touch game will be available for free. There will be unlimited downloads allowed during the two hours. Ten different games will be given away during the promotion. The specific title and hours for the giveaway will be revealed daily on Gameloft’s Twitter feed. The daily reveals will occur at random times so participants are encouraged to follow Gameloft on Twitter to be the first to know.
So there you have it. 10 free Gameloft titles for the next 2 weeks. With the 2 hour window and random giveaway times (which could potentially make it difficult for all to score the daily freebies due to different time zones), be sure to follow them on twitter for the announcements. Better yet, if you really don’t want to miss out, turn on the option to receive Gameloft tweets via SMS right on your phone. Here’s hoping that some of their newer games like Iron Man 2, Blokus and Brothers in Arms 2 HD will be included in the Happy Hour.
UPDATE: Ferrari GT: Evolution is today’s Gameloft Freebie (only good for 2 hours!)
Gameloft have revealed their starting lineup for tomorrow’s release of the iPad. Not surprisingly, they include some of their best selling games, including:
- Asphalt 5 HD
- Dungeon Hunter HD
- Let’s Golf HD
- Modern Combat: Sandstorm HD
- N.O.V.A. – Near Orbital Vanguard Alliance HD
- NFL 2010 HD
- Real Soccer 2010 HD
- Uno HD
Judging from the video above, it looks like we’ll be seeing much improved graphics compared to their iPhone/iPod Touch counterparts, as well as the implementation of the multitouch interface into the gameplay. And with the iPad’s relatively large screen size (compared to that of the iPhone), it may take some time for gamers to get used to holding the device like a virtual controller. Full press release after this space.
