Default RIM to support Webkit browser in its phones

This is iPhone news: Apple pretty much set the ... standard? for Webkit which now runs Safari's layout scheming, making it one fast motha! RIM, on the other hand, have sloughed it out in the embattled and stinky ships (see that?) with horrid browsers. Webkit should allow for better, ergonomic browsing at speeds aimed to be used by humans.

Unfortunately, that wasn't mentioned was it? Would be nice to find out. You know, as embarrassing as the web experience is, the Canadian in me (not a small portion) does take a bit of pride in RIM, but then I remember service outages and other problems which put them... really under a bad light.
