    Default Zombie Dash with Crystal

Zombie Dash is a game of survival! Use the innovative trackball to navigate through the tombs collecting treasure as you go. Each day you need to find the key that will let you pass into a safe zone where you can purchase items to help with your survival.

Moss burgers don't taste great but they do give you energy. If you can afford a few burgers you'll be able to run a lot faster the next day
Zombie spray helps you move amongst the zombies undetected. Spray it on in a fun mini-game. The more coverage you have the longer it lasts.
The Antidote is the most expensive item but helps fight off the zombie infection so you can live a little longer!

When you get caught by a zombie you will need to cast a magic spell to fight it off. Trace the spells on the screen as quickly as you can to avoid infection. Shake off bats, bash the snakes and step your way off of the floor spikes as you go deeper into the tomb.

As of yesterday, Zombie Dash just got a whole lot better with the v1.2 update . This release takes full advantage of the features packed into Chillingo's Crystal platform.

    + Online acheivements
+ Worldwide, national, local and friend based leaderboards
+ 8 New challenges! Brand new game play modes where you can play 1 vs 1 against your friends or anyone in the world.

I haven't really played this since I reviewed it a while back, but I might just have to throw it back on my device and give it a whirl again. It certainly was one of the more creative zombie games I've played on the iPhone.

Oh hey! Thanks for that review Eric - I think it was the first of a few that I saw and was glad to see you enjoyed the game! (http://www.iphonelife.com/blog/328/r...ash-clickgamer) I hope you like the update!

I really need to check this one out, it looks like a lot of fun.
I believe I may have gotten a preview build from the PR folks at Clickgamer, but they sent me a bunch of games all at the same time and I apologize if I let this one fall by the wayside.

I think what this game needs is a two player race to the end mode, with special levels designed just for the competition.

Probably not exactly what you were thinking but the Crystal Challenges do have defined levels where you compete against one other person (friend or anyone). Its not real-time competition. You both compete and check Crystal for the results. There are 4 types of challenges:
-> Spray game - see who can get the best coverage
-> Races - see who can unlock the door fastest
-> Collect Gold - see who can collect the most gold in 30 seconds or a minute
-> Magic - see who can destroy the zombies the fastest using magic.

This latest update has only been out a couple days - but not many people seem to be trying the challenges yet.

Yeah, not quite what I wanted, but that may be more my speed anyway I need to load Zombie Dash up over the weekend and start challenging people!

No problem. Would love to get your thoughts on the game (and some exposure on AppAddict )!

Get yourself set up on Crystal (if you're not already) and we can have some Zombie competitions

Picked up Zombie Dash from the App Store over the weekend (my adhoc build was a little out of date.)
I like the feel of the trackball, responds just like the real thing!
I'm already up on Crystal (ID OTGGamer) from both Guerrilla Bob and Cogs, sent you a friend request.

Just getting up to speed with the game, bought my first checkpoint (level 8 I think).
I love tricking those pesky zombies into running into the spikes. ;-)
Feel free to send me a challenge.
