The Walking Dead comic coming to AMC as TV Series

Not sure how many of you here have heard about The Walking Dead comic books by Robert Kirkman. I discovered it about a year ago and have absolutely loved every issue since (75 in total at the moment). Published monthly, the black and white comics tells the story of a band of survivors in a post apocalyptic zombie filled world. It's not for the feint of heart as the illustrations are really graphic (i mean really), but if you like the zombie genre and have yet to check this out, I'd suggest you grab a copy at your local comic store or via the Comics iDevice app.

And of course, the series has been picked up by AMC (Breaking Bad) and is being directed by Frank Darabont (Shawshank Redemption, Green Mile, the Mist). Me thinks this will be a big hit for the network. Take a look at the videos below...

looks cool. hopefully it works out to be a good series.. I hate it when comics turn into a bad tv show.
