The Resonance Speaker noise is a bit low... is this normal?
Adjust the volume using the volume control on the side. If it's still low, make sure the unit is properly situated on a flat and hard material, otherwise the vibrations will not reach the surface.
Does this Resonance Speaker come with an internal battery?

I was thinking the same thing, but you have a way of taking the words from my mind and putting them onto this white screen so fast. Who knows what I'll be ordering to complement my iPad in July. Let's just hope Canada has a few left...

The German store has all pre orders sold out and the new date under "shippig" is June 7th (from May 28th). I fear the batch for June 7th will be sold out too before long.

I don't know how the Canadian store fares, but you might consider to preorder one.

I actually don't know shigs... But the tired proverb "Better save than sorry" seems to ring true in my ears.

I mean if you have a definitive date when you're in CA and you know that you wan't to get one, why not preorder it. Just imagine how disappointed you would be if you had to leave with empty hands because demand still exceeds supply.

You might have luck without a preorder as well. Does anybody know the status of availability in the states now after more than a month since release? This mightbe a good indicator since CA and US are pretty even from a electronic consumption point of view (Oh, I hope there will be no flaming now because I compared CA to tht US).

You silly crazy German, how dare you compare... haha. Well, Canadadians DO purchase somewhat similarly to Americans, but we also have less money and tend to buy fewer gadgets and things. So, who knows. Remember, politically, Canada is somewhat to the left of the USA, but commercially, we are much more conservative. Which means I hope to have an iPad there. My problem is that my Canadian credit card is attached to my Canadian bank. Since I don't get paid in Canadian funds, it is hard to just reserve something since I literally don't have the money.

What I can do is take my hard-earned foreign dosh to Canada and trade it in. Either way, it is my loss - and gain.

Have you considered using something like Paypal instead of changing money at a bank? I don't often spent time abroad so I might be wrong but the last time I had to change some money the bank took horrendous amounts as a fee. Maybe using two Paypal accounts would work better for you.

1. Create one account linked to your Korean bank.
2. Create one account linked to your Canadian bank.
3. Transfer funds from your Korean bank to your Korean Paypal account.
4. Transfer funds from your Korean Paypal account to your Canadian Paypal account.
5. Transfer funds back to your Canadian bank from your Canadian Paypal acc.

In theory you should be able to get your money over with just a minimal paypal fee instead of what a bank would take for the change.

But maybe there are better solutions or nowdays banks doesn't charge so much anymore.

My bank is as hard to use as Windows. Firstly, I need to somehow get a friend (who works all the time) to a Korean bank during banking hours. Therein lies most of my problems as the bank has no one who can speak English. I am not allowed a checquing account, a credit card, or really internet banking as again, I work freelance. It would be different if I were a real human, but alas, I am not.

If I was human, I'd do the above steps. Otherwise, I could use a friend, maybe. Who knows.
