There is a new FW update for the phone today (3.1.3). DO NOT update if you are jailbroke.

Jailbroken. Backgrounder alone makes it more than worth the hassle.

Yes, yes, and yes. All our devices are jailbroken - a must for developers.

Have my iPhone 3GS 32GB Jailbroken, can't live without it. I don't go full on with all the jailbreaking stuff people do but for basic essentials (which the standard iPhone OS lacks in big time) I definitely need to have my iPhone jailbroken it makes it even more useful.

my device is j/b only. I love the freedom. There are several Cydia apps that Apple will probably never apply to their own OS like Bitesms, 3g Unrestrictor, and SBSettings. I'm hopeful that with the new iPhone due for release this summer I will be able to continue to have my phone j/b.

For the poll I clicked on "no I don't condone jailbreaking" because it was the best choice for me. A better wording for my situation would have been "know about it but choose not to". Condone almost implies I would be against it for moral reasons or something like that. If others want to jailbreak thats fine by me. I like my iTouch as it comes for the most part and am not willing to mess around with programming or able to void the warranty.

Just stating for the record. If a JB device ever needed warranty attention, all you have to do is restore the device as new and there is no way to tell it had ever been JB.
