Default Problem Syncing With iTunes 9.1

I have an iPod Touch 2nd Gen running OS 3.1.3 (NOT jailbroken). With 9.0.3, the device syncs fine. When I install 9.1, the device no longer syncs. I know it's a 9.1 problem, because I found and reinstalled 9.0.3 off the internet and I can sync again. Anyone have any ideas?

By the way, I did all the normal like reboot the machine, reboot the device, etc.

Did you notify Apple about your problems? Maybe you should walk in to their specialized store and make some enquiries or you could simply send them an email notifying them of the problem. From what I am understanding is that, it might be the versions are not compatible to each other. Maybe iTunes 9.0.3 is the last version that supports your second generation iPod touch. You might as will stick to the current version instead of updating it.

I never did send anything to Apple. However, the last version of 9.1.x fixed whatever the problem was. The main reason I wanted to update was so that I could download iPad software for my future purchase I haven't tried 9.2 yet, though, since I don't have iOS4 on my device. I figured I'd cross that bridge later.
