Could someone please tell me how I use items - in episode 1 there was a hand icon that you tapped which has now disappeared from the episode 2.

I am trying to use the credit card on the ATM but can't see how I can do that

First and foremost - this question would best go in the official 1112 Episode 02 forum.

Anyway - using the item is simple - just tap-and-hold it and drag off the inventory screen.

Would it be better to play Ep 1 before diving into Ep 2, or can it be played as a standalone game?

mrholder, the game DOES follow the story of ep 1 (naturally), but has a special intro video giving you a recap of what happened, so actually playing ep 1 is not necessary.
