Lads and ladies, check this out: with CS5, there is no more need for loooong manual re-touching. Sure it isn't perfect, but it is the BEST implementation of spot healing/removal/healing I've seen, ever.

Wish I could have gone to class for it; one day, my boss was like, 'you gonna do all our design work" and I was like "design-wha?" - true story. Now I can do it, but it was all pieced together over 3 years of intense frustration.

There's still time to attent a class. APS has so many different ways to achieve the same result that you might learn a easier method to achieve the same stuff easier.

You are right, but... I am in Korea now and I don't speak Korean. I am looking for something to bide my time whilst here as I feel just working and that ... is wasting precious time while I am borderline young! Any ideas of ways to correspond in studies?

I've learned a lot through the Gnomon DVD's. Especially for advanced users they're godsend.

I also like the Digital-Tutors DVD's. but They have changed their business plan to a monthly subscription model and I don't really like this model very much. Their training DVD's are geared more towards the beginner-intermiediate user.

Last but not least the weekly Photoshop User TV webcast with Scott Kelby, Dave Cross and Matt Kloskowski. Sometimes very advanced, sometimes very basic. Also they promote their books and workshops quite a lot, but I think it's still worth watching.

For written tutorials I have PsdTuts+ on my daily internet route. Very high quality tutorials.

By such I meant my graphics stuff. I dabble a bit, and used to do a lot more. I'm more comfortable with Gimp, but Photoshop is nice sometimes.
