    Default Plus+ vs. OpenFeint

I'm a huge fan of Plus+ though I see way too many games on OpenFeint, and am a little worried OpenFeint may take over the app world.
I'd mention Crystal and Scoreloop and Gameloft's achievement systems but none come even close to the competition between Plus+ and OF....

I much prefer Plus+ for their colour scheme, it's much faster to load, and just nicer aesthetically.
Anyways, who's on the Plus+ bandwagon with me?

A major gripe I have with all the systems is that it doesnt really integrate well with the games.

I hope there can be like themes and skins for all the system so it blends in better with the game.

The presence of OpenFeint is definitely everywhere (!)

I'm using both but I like plus+ more because their name means that the game itself is pretty good, otherwise they wouldn't have chosen it.

My iffy Korean wireless router makes me travel to coffee shops in order to play games online. Costs 10$ a pop! So, I don't end up bothering too much about either system. I will fix it one of these days.

Agon is yet another, but to be honest I don't pay too much attention to the leaderboard system as I simply don't have the skills/patience/time/interest/etc. to be anywhere near the top. Perhaps if friends played the same games I'd be interested in the competition. I enjoy playing the games but more at a personal level of achievement.
I would be curious to know how or what determines which achievement system a developer uses. Does player input such as in this forum help in the dev's choice?

Looking as things are progreesing I won't be too surprised if Apple buys up one of the systems (probably OpenFeint) and makes a mandatory common platform like XB Live Arcade. It would benefit everybody in the long run.

Actually I want a official apple solution. Apart from the general stuff like gamerscore, achievements, etc. I want to see music playlists and other realted stuff tracked.

    Maybe 4.0?

In the opposite dimension MS would provide XBL as the mandatory solution and I could use my 17k gamerscore on the iphone.

I see openfeint everywhere but I prefer my games on the plus+ network. I love their design.
