Default Get More Than 11 Pages of Apps (No Jailbreak)

If you follow TouchMyApps, it's very likely that you are like me in wishing that there simply was more space for all the apps you have downloaded. Here's an interesting tip that I've personally used. There is one caveat: it may not be permanent and could possibly revert back to the 11 pages.

Thanks for that link! I'm 6 apps away from totally filling up 11 pages!

Wow, that's neat. I'll make sure to bookmark that for future use. Though I doubt I'll make it to that many apps...

I didn't use the Voice Memos app as the one in my lower right corner (which might be my problem), but all that happened for me was that the app that got "pushed off" ended up back on the dock where I had removed the other app from. I'm running the latest firmware, so that's not the issue. Can anyone confirm that this has actually worked for them?

I tried this solution with iphone 3gs firmware 3.1.2 and got only 12 pages 1 page more. I tried getting the 13th page but cannot.
Also tried it with iphone firmware 2g firmware 3.0 and it crash! But after reboot, I got 12 pages. That is also the maximum I can get. If someone gets 13th page, do let me know how you did it as I tried the same steps mentioned and I only got 12 pages.

The solution to this is in the hands of Apple. They really need to start noticing the apps that are available for jailbroken iDevices. One app of importance would be Categories which is something Apple should definitely adopt and add to the iDevices to remove all this "pages" hassle.
