Nice offer, sadly only for US customers, not us here in Canada. Not your fault, its an Apple quirk that won't allow us to use gift cards for apps, just music...

It is easy to setup an US acc with no credit card info though, I have one and I use it for promo giveaways and reviews =x

Thanks, set it up and worked like a charm, awesome. I don't have any unredeemed gift cards handy but do you know if it will accept gift cards bought in Canada so you can use them to buy apps? Guessing it will, same logic.... thanks again...

hi simonpeter. Unfortunately, iTunes gift cards bought in Canada don't work in the US store...I've tried it last year and it didn't work. Unless they changed the rules recently, you'l have to stick with US GCs.
