iPad release data: April 3rd. Who's going to pre-order one?

You probably know by now that the release date for the iPad (Wi-Fi model) has been set for April 3rd, less than a month away. Will any of you be pre-ordering one come March 12th? Personally, I think the iPad will sell like hotcakes (no surprise there) and my feeling is that if you don't pre-order, you will likely be left without the "magical" tablet on launch day.

My other fearless prediction is that the Wi-Fi model will outsell the more expensive 3G + Wi-Fi version by a margin of 2 to 1.

I was on the fence there for a while, but I'll still be waiting for a 2nd gen model.

I don't want one, unless it has a camera.

But my birthday is two days after, so someone might buy one for me unwittingly. I personally want to wait for the HP Slate.

Honestly, I'm trying to find something good about it, but except for the fact that it's faster and bigger and can use iWork, I'm not finding anything.

Only one app running at a time?
Microsoft is developing a tablet with two screens, so it's possible to have a picture on one side and a drawing program on the other side.

Oh, and with the terrible 3G of AT&T, of course the wifi model will sell more than the 3G one.

I will most probably buy the 2nd gen model.

Read where Apple is producing 5 million ipads for the first part of 2010, so they're banking on quite a few of us buying one.
