Gamevil has just announced the 4 playable characters (Paladin, Magician, Shooter, Warrior) in the upcoming and highly anticipated Zenonia 2.

Good thing Gamevil added more characters to the sequel. The first got a bit 'boring' after 5 hours or so of gameplay (for me anyway). More characters should mean more fun. Looking forward to this...

I only hope this has a party system. The first was pretty good for its time, but it did get incredibly repetitive after a little playing. Inotia 2 greatly improved on the iDevice RPG genre, with a robust party system and online match ups.... in addition to an improved storyline and superb artwork. We can only hope that Zenonia 2 goes one step further, as the orginial did last year.

Ok, anyone notice any similarities to SEED characters/proffessions? Or is it just me?

There is no party system, although you will be able to adjust a "mini" talent tree of the faerie that accompanies you.

There is a multiplayer pvp element, although it has to be accessed in the towns through an NPC, much like the multiplayer aspect in the original Pokemon gameboy games.

If you had issues with the D-pad from the first, you will have them again (although you can move the D-pad, as well as the special ability buttons, to almost any location on your screen). Also, the equipment menu is dramatically different, which may leave you with some confusion for a bit.

While it would be a mistake to comment on the exact nature of the storyline, I can say that the amount of dialogue generated in the story sits at well over 500 pages and takes the characters on unique paths.
You will not lack for text.

Although, be careful what you wish for...
