    Default ngmoco buys freeverse

    Read via Twitter-

I personally like games from both outfits. Motochaser was one of the first apps I purchased and I still have a number of their offerings loaded on my iTouch. I also enjoy Eliminate, Touchpets, etc. from Ngmoco. To date, the freemium model that ngmoco is going with has not interfered too much with my gameplay but I think I may miss the old freeverse if they, too, go "freemium". It would be nice if they keep both companies independent of each other in games and pricing structure. Any thoughts?

Jeez, do we follow the same people?

I like both companies, ngmoco (in my opinion) being the finer one of the two. They paid $25 million for Freeverse.
I like the freemium models, they seem to work well. Although I think some games wouldn't work with the model anyway.
Freeverse is still planning on making their own games under ngmoco's banner.

An interview by TouchArcade can be found here:

Apparently most of the games will become freemiums in the future.
