Welcome to the app store unfortunately.

It's almost a guarantee that games don't sustain their initial price. Whether it's the developer being overzealous with their price, or just not enough sales, it seems to happen 98.65% (yes, I calculated....no I really didn't but you get the point) of the time.
Often, I see a game released at x price and within a few hours, it's already reduced. The app store is really all about patience.
You're bound to win some and lose some in the app store economics

At the end of the day, all you can do is ask yourself "self, is the game I'm about to buy worth it at it's current price".
At the same time, I know there is nothing more frustrating to buy a game only to see it on sale the next day.
Please, I feel the same way when I buy milk today and see it on sale tomorrow at the grocerry store for half price. Why? Because I work hard for my money and can appreciate the value of a dollar, but let's not go there....(or did I already go there?)

    Yes you did.

He game is new and has a high visibility. I didn't expect it to drop in price so soon.

Wow it looks like they're really trying to capitalize on their high exposure, though I'm not sure it's necessary. Regardless, it's a fantastic game and anyone thinking about it should just get it.

I have heard great things about this game. It's a good thing I did not jump the gun and purchase it asap.

I just got it and I truly love it! I love games that make an effort to bring some form of storytelling to the gameplay.

I also was rewarded for being patient (lucky me)... and this game is AWESOME. I love RPGs, but on the iPod Touch I'm really starting to lean towards the casual style - Pik's Revenge is another one - and the great thing about Space Miner is the fact that the action (arcade action, mind you, not really grinding) is all contained in roughly 4-5 minute bursts.

THe game has great production values, and a character that set it well above other titles.

Although the final battle is a beast.

I am TOTALLY loving this game! Never really been a fan of the "space shooters" but this one changed my mind. Scorelessmusic was spot on.....the storyline (and it is not even blowing stuff) really adds much more to the gaming aspect of Space Miners. A bit on the short side but I recommend this one to anyone who enjoys a well designed game.

Just curious, anyone here play with more "finesse" or do you simply go with the ship that can take the most damage and ram through all the asteroids? Both ways are fun ...
