I've been reading The Register for years. It is informative, edgy, and most of all, tongue-in-cheek. Tom's and Giz sure could learn a lot as their writing, while getting the job done, isn't exactly fun to read.
This article: Everything you ever wanted to know about Xbox hacking by The Reg is informative, and strangely, not as fun as usual, but it highlights certain reasons the XBox needs to hunker down and get some protection.
Phishing the XBox Online world seems to be fun for a lot of hackers, and lucrative to the best. Accounts can be traded, sold, and access to user-modded hacks are certainly available, too via information stored in the... box.
El Reg gives a few helpful tips on how not to get hacked, but the article stands as a warning to Microsoft and large corporations to NOT rely on security - items change constantly, so do regulations, fences - security ain't security in a constantly advancing online world.
Me amo El Reg!
