Default Factor 001 racing bicycle - Think of it as Final Audio for the road

It costs £27 000, that's about 20x what my current bicycle costs and it is a great custom steel beast: Marinoni Fango Cyclocross bicycle. Okay, so my Marinoni doesn't have a flash drive, nor was it developed by the F1 team, but dear God, who needs those things?

Firstly, people who can afford it won't be in good enough shape to actually use it. Secondly, it isn't even 'street legal' for real racers. Sure, it is cool, but dear God.

Okay, okay - many people had the same reaction to the 500-2000$ Final Audio earphone which we reviewed at TMA. I get that one too - it has as many weaknesses as strengths and takes a real audiophile/geek to appreciate it.

But a bike is meant to be read and I get the feeling that most of the people who could buy it... are probably well off (meaning past their prime) and the sort on whom the tech would be wasted.

    Anyway, great find by CNET

Strange... Looks like a regular bike to me. For that price I would expect at least a flux compensator.
