TRANSFORMERS G1: Awakening set to land on Feb 25th

Just got an email from Glu with this sweet trailer for the upcoming TRANSFORMERS G1. Being a big fan of the toys as a young lad and the fact that there aren't too many memorable TBSes (turn based strategies) on the iDevice, I'm really looking forward to G1. Even reminds me a bit of Super Robot Wars... Sweet!

Anyone else digging the trailer?

I didn't think a Transformer game would be a turn-based strategy but I see how it can work.

Yeah, never expected a Transformers game to be turn based. If anything, I thought it would be another shoot 'em up action game.

Feb 25th is the expected release date.

I'll be real curious to see how this game turns out. I love the Transformers (I still have a boxed Optimus Prime from the original 80s toys), but I've never been a big fan of their games. There was one that I really liked for the C64, but it wasn't even a licensed game. It was just some hack a smart kid threw together. Here's hoping for the best.
