Default New App: iDroid Mini Browser - FREE for a limited time

This updated from TMA's mainpage: iDroid Mini Browser written by TMA's slave, Matthew.

Lately web-browsing apps have surged in the AppStore. While browsers such as Opera, and Mozilla will never see the light of day, there are good alternatives on the AppStore that offer some similar features. iDroid Mini Browser is one.

    More after the gap:

iDroid Mini Browser features a sleek and simple UI, as well as key aspects that sets itself apart from the competition. It is the first web-browsing app that I’ve come across to offer preview windows of the web-page by holding down its tab. Also, similar to Safari on the Mac, iDroid Mini Browser lets you store up to 9 visual bookmarks on the homepage. Another great feature is the ability to search for specific words on a web-page.

While not as feature-filled as some web browsing apps such as PERFECT Browser 3, iDroid Mini Browser is definitely one of the coolest of the lot – and best of all, it’s free for a limited time!

I downloaded it, it looks to be so much better than the lame native Safari app. Only thing I don't like is the fact that it's limited to only four tabs, hopefully it gets updated and I will use this app like no other.

Yeah, Safari is pretty lame. If only Apple would really update their native software...

tried this iDroid Mini Browser early today. Surprisingly, it is not too bad. I'm so used to the default safari app that i may have a hard time switching over, though it is always good to have (free) alternatives

Hmm, then that's probably the issue - iDroid Mini Browser probably doesn't support jailbroken devices. It runs perfectly fine on my 3GS, which is not jailbroken.
