Default iPad comic book reader - Panelfly looking forward to iPad release

It's not just geeks like us or game devs, the iPad has garnered deserved looks for its wonderful colour touch screen. The best of course, hasn't been seen yet and as other TMA forum members have pointed out, we should be prepared to be surprised. But dear me... Panelfly's work looks amazing. I AM NOT a big comic reader, but the screenshots at their website make me ... excited.

Woohoo!! No more need to pinch to zoom and scroll about on my limited iPhone screen (for comics)

I am pretty excited (as I said before) about the iPad. Not sure if finances will allow me to purchase this year, but these full screen glorious apps make me really, really look forward to it all.

Big iPod touch or not, this machine is made for geeks like me.

Oh cool. Reading comics on iPod Touch is a pain.

I agree @aldan_ree. I downloaded a few free comics from the app store when they first came out, and they were miserable to read. On an iPad however, comics could be awesome -- and interactive! One more reason for me to figure out how to afford one. :-)

I agree, comics would look amazing on the iPad. Comiczeal is a great app for the idevice. Maybe they can update their app for it. Shouldn't be too much trouble.

    Oh my.
I'm a huge comic and web-comic fan so this is a huge deciding factor.

I'm leaning towards buying one now.

Yeah, it looks hot - really hot. My trouble is that my computer is dying at the same time (my fault) and my budget is already massively stretched.

Oh damn, I was already quite certain that I won't get an iPad, but this and all of those books are tempting me!
Sorry for any spelling mistakes in my posts, I'm using an iPhone to write them
