@shigzeo I spent a little bit of time with the Clue iPhone game, and I thought it was kind of interesting. It certainly isn't the board game, but I also don't think it's as bad as most reviewers panned it.

@juubee Must be nice to either be that restrained or that popular in regards to your spending Despite the amount of games I have gotten for free (which is a lot), I've still dumped a considerable amount of money into the app store. Then again, there are a lot worse things I could be doing with my money, and at least I'm supporting indie developers!

haha yes. I can't believe I had self control like that but I think it was cus I realized I only had x amt of dollars to spend becus of the gift card amount and I should watch what I buy. Like how I totally want tetris but I'm waiting for it to go down. =b

I think I've spent less than $5 total worth of apps! LOL. Usually I get free apps or am lucky enough to come by paid apps/games that are on sale r available for free (e.g. Tap Tap Revenge 3), usually thanks to the heads up from TMA. Plus I also get awesome stuffs from TMA and some random Twitter & FB contests.

Wonder if the price of Earthworm Jim will decrease anytime soon....?

I don't wait for price drops, if I'm interested in a game I read reviews and in the end buy it. I'm using iTunes Gift Cards so I can track my expenses better, if I didn't I would probably finish with more than 1000 apps
Oh and if anyone is interested, since I got my iPhone in July 09 I spent 600$ on apps
Sorry for any spelling mistakes in my posts, I'm using an iPhone to write them

Yea I think it highly depends on the Apps...when need for speed: shift dropped I got it right away, and I know I will do the same when Final Fantasy 1 and 2 hit. For other apps I'll wait.

Another thing I consider is the likelihood that I'll play the game, even if it's something that I'm interested in. For example, Wolfenstein RPG was a no-brainer, because I figured I'd put enough time into it that I'd get my money's worth out of it, and I did. On the other hand, even though I wanted Battle Of Wesnoth, I waited for a price drop because I figured I wouldn't end up playing it all that much, and sure enough I haven't even loaded it up yet.

lol, I've gotten quite a bit of money in iTunes from giveaways. still i rarely buy anything unless its really popular or ive played it on a friend's idevice first
example would be beejive, really nice IM app, however bit pricy. waited a bit and then it dropped from 9.99 to 6.99 and i bought it then, saving 3 dollars

If it's an original app, I'll pay full price for it. If it's another Tetris clone, or a game I can play for free in a browser (ie. Canabalt), I'll wait for a price drop.
