Are you going to buy an iPad?

I will definitely buy one. I love playing games. It attracts me a lot experiencing the board touch on ipad.

I will probably get one eventually, because just like very other mobile device I've gotten in the last 5 years I'll convince myself that I really will write a program for it someday (and I will However, I won't be constantly refreshing any web site the day they go on order just so I can be one of the first to have one. Eventually someone besides Apple is going to have the "next big thing", and I want to save my money for that :P

Well, it turns out the "next big thing" hasn't come yet, and I now own an iPad 2. I haven't regretted a minute of it, and my poor iPod Touch is feeling the neglect. I tried messing with some of the others. The Nook isn't bad, but of course the software library just isn't there yet. Amazon's latest effort, the Kindle Fire, is a joke until they get the responsiveness issues worked out, and the other Android tablet I've played with was so worthless that it would make a better doorstop than a tablet. It will be interesting to see what Windows 8 has to offer in the tablet arena, but just like Windows 7 with smartphones, I think it will be too little too late.
