Since I already have a 3GS, nano, macbook...I don't really see the need in 1 more thing that does SOME of all of them, but not all of any of them.

I will be one of the first to line up at the Apple store when it comes out My laptop is way too heavy and bulky (15 inches) and I can't wait to carry around something as small and lightweight as the iPad. So yes, count me in for the new iPad!

I'll probably buy it. How much will it cost?

I'm totally going to buy an iPad. What makes me want it is the "special" games that is just for the iPad, with better graphics. It's also because of the screen, it's so large, compared to the iPhone. Browsing this forum on my iPhone is actually really hard!

I was expecting it to have more computer features than iPod Touch/iPhone features. If it a USB port, and some sort of proper connectivity for writing articles (example: word processing support) I'd consider it. Also, there is no mic on it is there? Would of been nice to have sit on a desk and record an interview, lecture, or media event. Right now, I definitely will not be buying it. Maybe next generation iPad though.

I'll buy one when it can do everything my laptop can, including flash. Actually run for 10 hours, and not need to be connected to another computer to sync. It needs to be it's own device. If anything, other devices should be able to sync to it.

Remember your history people. This time next year there are going to be rumors up the wazoo about iPad 2 or whatever they decide to call it. Just like everything else it'll be a little faster, have another top storage level and maybe 1 of the handful of features that you want added. Unfortunately with Apple products, it's not always the best idea to hop aboard the 1st gen train asap.

I want one for sure. I think they are pretty sweet looking, plus i don't have a laptop so it would suit me there as well.

Why did I have to buy my Netbook 2 months ago ($400 bucks).. why!!! Wish I had just held off a little longer so I had the money to buy the iPad. Now I wonder how much I can make back by selling it.

I don't think anything will come close to touching the iPad. None of the competition will have a chance for this new tablet market
