Hey there, TMA readers!
We're finally open to public and one of the things I wanted to check out is - How many of you will actually buy an iPad once it comes out?
Oh MY God Sure!
Nah, it sucks!
Mehh... Maybe...
What's an iPad?
Hey there, TMA readers!
We're finally open to public and one of the things I wanted to check out is - How many of you will actually buy an iPad once it comes out?
I'll be waiting for a next gen model with a front facing camera. Otherweise I don't see anything I would need in the current model. Except the sexy Apple design.
Definitely. I cannot do what I need to do with a laptop and the iPod touch is a bit too small. I have taken the caveats: adapter for nothing other than bloody SD card, and few connection options into account. At this point, no one knows what the OS will look like. How well will it handle files for exporting and importing is anyone's guess. But, in South Korea where iPod touch is marked up by 50%, I do not expect the iPad to carry less than the same premium - I'll wait till back in Canada this or next year.
I'm not quite sure yet.. I'll have to wait until it comes out and test it at my local Apple store before I decide. I like the idea of being able to run all the apps on a bigger device, but I'm not sure it's worth $500 to do that.
I would like to get one but don't know if i want to spend that much money on it. It's new gadget and hard for me to say no!!!
i will maybe buy one but i think
i got an ipad mini ( my ipod)
and a pc
i dont know what i should do with an ipad
it is the thing between this 2 and i dont really know if people really need it
As a developer, I will definitely pick one up so I can make some apps for it! :]
Like any new tech, it is best to check it out first rather than rushing in. Especially if the item is 500$ and more. But, if my instincts don't fail me, it will be great. My wife, on the other hand, doesn't care for it. She rather thinks of it like... a large iPod touch and try as I might, I cannot dissuade her from the opinion that it is worthless.
As a doodler, I will pick one up and hope that Apple get a decent scribbling, handwriting recognition software base ready. The Audiophile in me wonders if the iPad shares the great internals of the 3GS and iPod touch 3G. The complainer in me is sitting still. The empty-wallet broken bloke is passively waiting for a lucky break.
No. I'm going to wait until the next generation or two down the line. I'm sure it will have it's niche, but I'm satisfied with the smaller ipod touch for the moment.
