If I got ahold of that frame, my iTouch would be history. I am a fairly patient lad, but not that patient... In the meantime, my AMP3 Pro 2 from HiSound sometimes takes minutes to boot up (its just an MP3 player with a decent amp stage) and my Sansa Fuze doesn't load music anymore.

I hate these companies who proclaim to be so much better than Apple, but cannot make a reliable product.

Products vary... If you bought a first-get MB air, or the latest-gen 27" imac, you'd think even worse about Apple

Back when my whole iPod memory wiped out except the apps, it took about 8-10 hours to restore it! (I fell asleep coz it took all night)

Another time my whole library was completely wiped out except for my apps & games yet it said my memory was full...
Always look at the disk space available in iTunes when you do a sync with your computer. There is a tendency for users to download too much music and videos. Videos took up more disk space and I do some checks on the available disk space in iTunes from time to time.

Here are some of the problems I've experienced:

Trying to do a hard reset (hold Sleep/Wake while pressing Home till Apple icon appears) my device got stuck on the Apple icon screen. It refused to reboot, like it was stuck in an infinite loop. Eventually the battery would drain. I posted my problem on Apple support forum, and someone directed me an obscure Apple webpage that listed an weird procedure to "reboot". The method as described didn't work precisely, but I found a variation that eventually got me to a "Restore iPod?" dialog box in iTunes. From there I was able to fix the problem.

My settings icon disappeared! I could still get to settings using the search function, but no more icon. I eventually wiped and restored from backup.

In Safari, I am unable to save a bookmark as an icon on the home screen. I don't know why this option has disappeared from my device--it is still shown in the operator's manual.

    How about you?

Have you installed any cydia apps lately like categories? Usually problems comes with jailbroken ipod touch , seldom with the stock original firmware.
