I'm quite sure Dune won't be out anytime soon, but... I can hope.

What another Dune adaption? The first movie caused Frank Herbert to drop dead, the TV adaption made him rotate in his grave and another movie might be enough that you could power the entire earth population for a millenia when he goes into full meltdown.

Forget the LHC. You really want to see some quantum physics? Just watch his corpse when the new movie hits theaters.

The first movie started out very well and had wonderful visuals, but it fell flat as it was obvious that Lynch didn't care. Too bad as that could have been one of the best adaptations ever. Good or bad, Dune is a series I want to watch and read. The TV series was certainly less than stellar; it was poppy and a bit boring, but I'm glad it aired. If a new movie comes out, I know it will suck, but I cannot imagine it will ever be anything but pop. Still, my eyes is waiting for it!

It also sported some of the worst overacting I have ever seen.

But as a strand of hope: Maybe it will be a faithful adaption as the LotR movies. But... nah.

Forgot about prince of Persia. That looks good too so that's on my list now too.

All of them are too far away though... But so pumped for midnight showings.
