    Default Medical Apps

What are the Medical Apps that you have used and what are your opinions about them?
(I mean for use by doctors or med students, not for storage of personal health information).

Wow Mari, not sure if we've scored a doctor yet, but if we did, I'd really like to hear from her or him on this one.

I,too, have wondered about the medical apps available ( for example: accurate? written by qualified developer?) and what a doctor would think.
I don't know if I would be comfortable with a doctor who pulls his iPhone/iTouch out of a pocket and refers to it for info/"advice". Could be the same info or even more updated than reference books but I'm "old school" ...

Well, evidently, the iPad will be a big draw for physicians. AppleInsider report that 1/5 doctors will go for the device. I think it can be used for culling information/statistics, but unless the app is meant for specific instruments and approved by a large, trustworthy body of professionals, I would not be happy trusting it or a white-coat with the device.
