The future of iPad apps

Okay this is actually a App I would buy if I had a iPad. My kids had fun watching the video and I guess they would love to play with the actual app.

I will not claim any originality in this post but I feel it's true-
The App Store is a mixed bag. Some gems surrounded by a bunch of duds. However one man's gem is another man's dud. The App Store has been this way for a long time and always will be

This is where I say thanks to Touch My Apps and this forum. They help separate the wheat from the chaff ...

At this time in my life this particular app is a dud. Similar to what NineSwords said, when my kids were younger they would have gotten great joy from an app like this and that would have made it a gem.

P.S. as I was typing this post it disappeared in the blink of an eye...if something similar shows up elsewhere, sorry. must've hit some button!

My wife's eyebrows nearly marched into her hair on that one. Cute? Maybe. Useful? Doub it. She was definitely surprised, though. Not sure what to say, it could be useful. Think board meetings, queuing for tuna, buying socks, a mug-shot line! This app has uses.

Yeah. Great idea. Just imagine the comical value when you open the door for the pizza boy with that face. Hilarity ensues.

But think of the potential... get an app like that with the faces of all the important leaders of the world and you could slip through just about anywhere without any hassle

Yeah, I showed this to my bro and he was like.. uhh what?
It's a dud for me.

But I still don't know what I'd do with an iPad. It'd be nice to have 5 minutes with it though.
