Frankly, I don't even really care what any of the discussion in this thread is about (though I'm sure I already know). It was worth it just for the title of the thread :)
Actually, though, isn't a "full OSX iPad" pretty much a contradiction? If it's got the full OSX system on it, then it's really a MacBook with a touch screen. That's really the way they need to go. Make one of those deals where you can use it like a traditional laptop or you can flip the screen around and use it as a tablet (and if that's what you all have been saying, sorry for being a repetitive wienie). If they did that I'd most likely get one, though I'd probably have to remortgage my house to be able to afford it.
