Development
So I have been on the fence for some time trying to decide if I want to learn how to develop apps for the iPlatform. Turning 30 this year puts me well ahead in years with regards to a lot of developers and is also part of the reason for my personal debate. At 30 it takes a lot more work and time for someone to learn/apply things that you've never done before. If I had all this 10-15 years ago I could probably pick it up no problem, I just don't know if I really want to put in the undetermined amount of time to wrap my head around it.
I know there are some dev's here as well as some friends of dev's so my question to you all is this. What would you determine to be the best resource available to someone who knows literally nothing about the platform and how to develop. Any answers are appreciated.
As humorous as it is I noticed that there is a "for dummies" book about iphone app development so I may look into that. If you had an opinion on any of this please let me know.
Thanks all

SteveNAka,
We HAVE posted at least two articles on getting into iPhone development, aren't you reading your own website? :)
Anyway, good luck on it - we could sure use a TMA app!

I know we have posted some stuff ourselves :p My main reason for asking was because I know that there are some actual dev's in the forums and like most things in life if you have the chance to ask someone in the know about something you take it. You never know what hidden gem someone might be sitting on.
