Hi all!
I made a short intro post elsewhere but I'll rerun it here to make it official :)
Casual gamer with a 3g iTouch which is used almost as much for its organizational apps. I, too, keep my iTouch close at hand and don't like to leave home without it.
Live in Southern Ca though I'd prefer a place with more trees and rain.
Currently working on an avatar...
I'll keep it short and simple- I'm Matthew one of the writers (slaves JK LOL) at the wonderful TouchMyApps. I got my iPod Touch in November 2007 and soon jailbroke it on 1.1.1 firmware. After failing to jailbreak 1.1.3 firmware, I kept it at 1.1.1, and that's where it is today. One of my closest friends gave me his slightly damaged 2G iPhone which I soon made as good as new. This introduced me to the AppStore, which had come out a couple months prior to me receiving the iPhone. After my AT&T contract was up during the summer, I got myself a 16 GB iPhone 3GS, which replaced my Sony Ericcson (I used my 2G iPhone without a contract).
I too am in need of an avatar and will have to flex my brain to think of something creative to make. ;)
^^ how 'bout a slave?
Hi madam_octa and juubee! Nice to know that other girls are addicted as I am. Btw, I've been coaxing my newly converted iPhone/iPod Touch Twitter friends to join us (I'm also a Twitter addict). IRL I dont know anyone else with and iPhone/iPod Touch that are app addicts.
I am the infamous ChiffaN, the adventure addicted member of the TMA editing staff. I got my iPhone 3G a little over a year ago for my birthday which I immediately jailbroke to 2.2 and have been on the dark side ever since. Late in the summer of 2009 I have decided to brush up on my writing skills in preparation for a PhD paper and seeing the twitter from TMA - I immediately applied. Since then I have been one of the more prolific writers and behind some of the more exclusive columns at TMA.
By day I am a project manager for a major global telecommunications company and now have to try to balance not only work and personal life (yes, I'm happily married), but TMA duties as well.
Most of my IRL friends have touches or iPhones and they're not addicts as me so it's up to me to share apps with them and tell them about cool apps but most of them jailbreak so they can get any paid app I bought and introduced. The addiction right now is doodle jump and they're striving to beat my score :D.

Hi My Name Is Ray.
I am an appaholic. I currently have 700+ iPhone apps for my 3G S (paid for over a third of them). I live in San Jose, CA (Silicon Valley) and as many out here, worked for Apple way back when. I'm still hooked. (twitter: rg_fanboy).
TMA rocks!
