Newsweek mobile
I made short reference to this new app in the Lounge but thought I would mention it in the proper section because it's a nice news app if you like Newsweek Magazine. It loads really quickly ( iTouch wifi) and caches the articles for offline reading without clicking on the individual articles (unlike Time mobile). It lets you share via Twitter, Facebook, or email if you want to. Some articles have links to various sources such as Amazon or the original "source" of a quote for example (also lets you open up the link in Safari). To refresh one simply pulls down on the page with your finger and release.
It does try to sell you Newsweek Mag with a small banner on the bottom even though the app costs $1.99. I personally do not mind this just like I don't mind it in the CNN app (I recall a lot of people complaining when CNN did this).
Well worth checking it out if you follow current events, especially if you need to store news for offline times...
In TMA vernacular- Kiss It :D
P.S. don't confuse this one with the Newsweek Magazine Cover app

Without N'gai Croal I don't really care for newsweek anymore. Which is a good thing, because the App isn't on the German Appstore. Otherwise this really sounds like a good implementation of a news app. Especially the caching of articles is something every App of that kind should do.

Thanks for the impressions Ron. Sounds like a good one to pick up.
