Maybe we should open a new thread for all of us to declare the apps we got :)
There's this nifty app called "App Store Expense Monitor" that will do the honors of doing the totals for us.

Actually, I am positive that I did not spend such money. This is an interesting way to see how much I *would have spent* if I had paid full prices for all the stuff I got. :)
That would actually be kind of interesting to see what the "retail value" of my purchases is. I know how much I have spent, which is still a number I can't post in case my wife should happen upon it :P However, at almost 1,800 apps, I'd be scared to even contemplate what the full value of my software collection is. I'm so thankful for promo codes and freebies :)
I didn't vote coz it depends. I usually head for the free section first. LOL. Got a few paid apps such as Bejeweled 2, Spilt Milk etc which I assume has not reduced their prices til now. Most of the paid to free/ reduced prices apps I have are heads up from the TMA site, most of which I probably wouldn't have come across in the apps store.
I buy apps in 2 cases - when they are absolutely needed AND well done, or when I like the developing team. Or both.
I am searching for the board game today. If I can't find it in Seoul, I will buy the iPhone game and be damned if it ain't that good. I love that game.
I don't often buy (now), but have gone on wild sprees from time to time.
Obviously, as a reviewer, I get ad hoc or codes, but... when I go mad on shopping sprees, I really go mad.
I got Clue from the Christmas sale and think it's a good interpretation of the game. Interpretation because it's not a 1to1 copy ofthe board game like with monopoly or game of life for example.
