I hate similies. They have the bad habit of being overused.

How about limiting the amount of smileys in a post?
Say, 5 or 6 should be enough for even the longest posts.

Found out on one of Nine's other threads that 5 images (smilies included) is the limit.

Smileys count as images? :(

Can we at least update the current ones?
They honestly look terrible.

These are awful. We will look into fixing this error - these are horrid. But rest assured, with those toothing things out of the way... we will rock!

You know, I don't mind the smilies as they are. They still serve their purpose to help convey the "mood". The site/forum rocks already btw :D

I've mentioned it before, but never got any other opinions/responses-
How about putting background color to the site/forum? On my widescreen monitor I get a tan from the mass of bright white. Down the left and right sides at least? Bad idea?

The only color I would change to would be a light blue. Everything else makes a forum look a bit worse, IMO.

I really like this color on the forums. Cus it doesn't hurt the eyes and this blue actually looks nice (not a blue fan).

As for smilies... I like to not use smilies as images and just have the actual text version :D

I love my smilies. A Lot. Or else I just do this *grin* or *giggles*. Some times smiley don't justify what we feel or are doing! *laughs quietly* The color is ok, though maybe the background could be slightly light grey or something. :)
