CultofMac has a good article about the simple music-only service known as Instinctiv (http://bit.ly/aw5d1O).
I used to be a fan of iTunes, but lately, it has become as manoeuvrable as a tractor, supporting everything, every bloody thing. If you are a Windows user, I hear it's even worse. There is no need for an app called 'iTunes' to support anything but music and maybe movies. Currently, the fact that it bloody syncs with my iPod, my calendars, my apps, my photos - makes it sloppy, slow, and congested.
Apple need to rethink their strategy. I suggest a sync app for their iDevices and leave iTunes for what it is good at: media.
